This is the first Report of the Advisory group on forced evictions (AGFE) to the Executive Director of UNHABITAT. The group was established as a result of Resolution 19/5 of the Governing Council of UN-HABITAT which included a request to establish an advisory group to monitor identify and promote alternatives to forceful evictions.
